State Appeals Court to Hear Arguments in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Indiana Court of Appeals frequently takes cases on the road. This Friday, they'll hear arguments at Wayne High School.

A panel of judges will hear McCloud vs. the State of Indiana and review the admissibility of specific pieces of evidence.

They'll also determine if the sentence was appropriate. That case was originally heard in Madison County last year.

According to court documents, the defendant Marquise McCloud was patted down without an reasonable suspicion.

That investigation lead to the discovery of cocaine and then McCloud being found guilty of dealing and possessing cocaine.

It's designed to be a way for students and the public to see the court in action
