GM Plant to Produce Natural Gas Hybrid Pickup

CHICAGO (WOWO): The General Motors plant in Roanoke will soon build a new environmental concious, consumer friendly heavy duty pickup truck

At the Chicago Auto show Thursday, the company unveiled the truck. Mike Jones is the Natural Gas Products Manager for GM and says its a vehicle that makes sense economically and environmentally.

“For the customer who is concerned about the environment and fuel costs, this provides a perfect solution.”

He says its a heavy duty truck that drivers will notice no difference in performance between gas or compressed national gas.
