GOSHEN, Ind. (AP) _ The president of a northern Indiana school board says the district won't take up the issue of changing the name of its high school mascot from Redskins any time soon.
 
  Goshen Board of School Trustees President Jane Troup tells The Goshen News the name will remain the Redskins.
 
  A wooden carving of an American Indian chief representing the mascot was temporarily removed from the school's gym for a graduation ceremony in June to avoid offending anyone, but then was put back before the ceremony.
 
  The district said at the time the future of the mascot would be discussed over the summer. But Troup says administrators instead decided to focus on educational goals.
 
  Goshen schools officials have previously recommended the Indian chief logo not be used on athletic uniforms.
