Guilty Plea in Leesburg Sex Case

LEESBURG, In. (WOWO): A Leesburg man has withdrawn his original not guilty plea and entered a guilty plea on sexual misconduct charges. 

21 year old Theo Richard Timmerman II of Leesburg was arrested following an incident on November 13. An officer with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department spoke to the victim’s father who said his 15-year-old daughter and Timmerman were having sexual intercourse. 

The officer also spoke to the victim and she admitted to having intercourse with Timmerman on multiple occasions. 

Timmerman admitted the intercourse occurred on three different occasions. 

A level 6 felony can carry the possibility of 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. Timmerman’s plea acceptance and sentencing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. June 25.
