Hammond Man Gets Life for Molesting Infant Girl

HAMMOND, Ind. (AP) _ A federal judge has sentenced a northwestern Indiana man to life in prison plus 85 years for repeatedly sexually molesting an infant over a 14-month period.

U.S. District Court Judge Rudy Lozano on Thursday rejected a request by 40-year-old Christopher Bour for the mandatory minimum of 30 years in prison, calling the Gary man's crime too “horrific'' during the Hammond court hearing.

The Post-Tribune of Merrillville reports Bour pleaded guilty in January to buying a child for sex, possessing child pornography and three counts of producing child pornography.

He admitted paying Gary resident Natisha Hillard $500 to have sex with a 4-month-old infant girl. That arrangement lasted until the child was 18 months old.

Hillard also pleaded guilty in the case and is awaiting sentencing.
