FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Authorities have released the name of the man killed in a Saturday evening accident in Fort Wayne.

The Allen County Coroner says 54-year-old Henry Meyers died from blunt force trauma.

It happened at Hayden and McCulloch Streets. Meyers was found unconscious at the scene.  He was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Investigators believe the man was in a vehicle attempting to pass a box truck. The vehicle side-swiped the truck and then crashed into a tree.

The driver of truck was not injured.
