FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Ahead of Indiana’s May 3 primary election, presidential hopefuls are setting up campaign offices around the state, including in Fort Wayne.

Ted Cruz is the latest candidate to open an office in Fort Wayne. His wife, Heidi Cruz, will be at the office’s grand opening to kick-start his Fort Wayne campaign.

The grand opening will be at 6:45 p.m. Friday at 202 W. Berry St. Suite 410.

Registration is required for the opening, but tickets are free.

Cruz is the second Republican candidate to open an office in Fort Wayne. Donald Trump opened his office April 14.

Both Democrat candidates, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, have opened Fort Wayne offices.

Cruz also has offices in Evansville and Indianapolis.
