FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A 44-year-old man was arrested last night shortly after he robbed a Fort Wayne Walgreens.

Fort Wayne police say they were called to the pharmacy on Bluffton Road after a man had given a note to the pharmacist, demanding a bottle of methadone or  he would shoot them, saying he had “nothing to lose.” When police arrived he was gone, but officers soon found 44-year-old Scott Jordan sitting outside the store in the grass.

They say Jordan immediately surrendered and admitted to robbing the store, saying he needed the painkillers for an injury he suffered last year. He wasn’t armed.

Jordan was also arrested on two warrants, one for a prole violation and another for larceny.
