FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A fire Friday afternoon caused heavy damage to a house on Home Avenue.

Fort Wayne fire crews got the call around 2:30 p.m. and once on the scene, they found smoking coming from the front and back of the home. A woman was inside when the blaze broke out, but she made it out of the house before firefighters arrived.

They extinguished the fire within 20 minutes and no injuries were reported.

According to the Fort Wayne Fire Department, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
