ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – I-69 Southbound is closed following a Monday afternoon crash.

According to a public safety alert, the crash was near the 297 mile marker, north of Markle.

All southbound lanes will be closed as crews work to clear the scene of the crash, the Indiana Department of Transportation reports.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
