Indiana AG Inquiring About Volkswagon Emissions Tests

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): The attorneys general of Indiana and 26 other states have sent subpoenas to Volkswagen seeking records from their admitted attempts to cheat on pollution tests.

Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan is leading a multistate request for information from V-W. A spokeswoman for Michigan's attorney general says the investigation will involve both environmental and consumer protection divisions.

Volkswagen admitted this week it secretly installed software on a half-million cars to give artificially low readings on emissions tests.
