Indiana COVID-19 death toll surpasses 800

INDIANAPOLIS (WOWO): The Indiana State Department of Health reported 29 additional deaths due to COVID-19 on Sunday, climbing the death toll to 813.

The deaths happened between April 9 and April 25. The department says there are 634 new positive cases, pushing total positive cases to 15,012.

A total of 81,704 people have been tested.

In Allen County, another 20 residents tested positive for the coronavirus, pushing total positive cases to 446. The death toll remained unchanged at 36.

Allen County’s numbers may not reflect the state’s numbers due to a delay in private lab reporting.
