Indiana Flu Daths Remain at 43 This Week

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ The Indiana State Department of Health says Indiana’s flu death toll remains unchanged at 43 after rising steadily this month.
 
  The agency also said Wednesday that while reports of influenza-like illnesses remain high nationwide, federal officials says flu cases appear to be falling in some areas, including the Midwest.
 
  State health officials are nonetheless urging Hoosiers to consider getting a flu vaccination and to follow personal hygiene steps to reduce the spread of the flu. The agency says people should wash their hands, cover their mouths when coughing and stay at home if they’re sick.
