Indiana GOP Tabs New Leader

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana's GOP has a new leader. This week the party named Carrie Petty as its executive director.

She replaces Tim Berry who stepped down to become Indiana's Director of Financial Institutions.

In a press release, Petty is described as an Indianapolis business leader and a Vice President with Petty Custom Homes. She also worked with the City Mosaic Partnership, a charity that linked churches and communities to fight poverty.

She's also worked with Habitat for Humanity and Gleaners Food Bank.
