Indiana Senate Passes Bill to Restrict Drone Use

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Indiana police would need search warrants before using aerial drones or demanding passwords for electronic devices if the Legislature gives final approval to a digital privacy bill. The restrictions, along with several others on police designed to protect privacy, passed the Senate unanimously on Tuesday. The legislative push for greater privacy protections comes amid criticism of the National Security Agency's surveillance programs.
