Indiana Senate Votes to Legalize Industrial Hemp

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Some Indiana fields could become green with industrial hemp if momentum for a legalization proposal keeps growing. The state Senate unanimously approved a bill to legalize industrial hemp Monday. Hemp is marijuana's non-intoxicating cousin but it cannot be grown under federal law. Many products made from hemp, such as oils and clothing, are legal.
