Indiana Under State of Emergency Due To Severe Winter Weather

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO) – The state of Indiana remains under a state of emergency due to the winter storm that came in over Saturday night.

Governor Mike Braun posted on social media that a federal emergency response declaration and a state of emergency had been declared.

The Indiana Department of Homeland Security has been directed to take over emergency response efforts.

President Donald Trump approved emergency declarations for both Indiana and Kentucky on Saturday.
