INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Indiana voters are heading to the polls for Tuesday's primary races.
Polling places opened to voters at 6 a.m. local time, and there were no immediate reports of voting problems around the state.
There are no statewide races on Tuesday's ballot and few congressional contests are expected to be close. But a handful of legislative contests that focused on the General Assembly's fight over whether to amend Indiana's constitution to ban gay marriage are expected to be the primary's most divisive races.
