Indianapolis Fire Department Vehicle Crash

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO)  — An Indianapolis Fire Department vehicle was hit and damaged Saturday afternoon at the intersection of 38th Street and Georgetown Road.

Just before 1:30, firefighters were responding to a fire on Voight Drive, then a woman in a vehicle plowed into it.

The firefighter vehicle went into the air, spun, and landed on the windshield of another vehicle.

The woman was taken to a hospital with minor injures.

No other injuries were reported.
