Indianapolis Pizza Shop Worker Wounded in Shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Police in Indianapolis say a Domino's Pizza employee was badly wounded during a shooting in the store's parking lot.
 
Officers were called to the store on the city's near-north side about 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
 
Police say three employees had left the shop at the end of their shift when they were confronted by a group of people in an apparent robbery attempt. One employee was shot in the chest and was taken to a hospital in critical condition
 
Police say those who confronted the employees left the area on foot. Police didn't immediately say whether they stole anything from the workers. No other injuries were reported.
