According to the Allen County Coroner, Robert Tyrrell was taken to the hospital after he was discovered hanging in his Allen County Jail cell Sunday evening. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
His cause of death has been ruled as asphyxia due to hanging and the manner of death was ruled as a suicide. The incident still remains under investigation.
