BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WOWO): An Indiana University grad student was among those aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 when it was shot down yesterday over Ukraine. According to a statement released by the university today, 25-year-old Karlijn Keijzer was a doctoral student in the chemistry department and a member of the women's rowing team during the 2011 season. IU says their “hearts go out to the families of all the victims of this senseless act”.
