FORT WAYNE, Ind (WOWO): You can add Ivy Tech to the list of colleges that plan to raise tuition. A hearing is set for next week in Indianapolis about whether to proceed with a $20 per-credit increase spread out over two years.

Instate student tuition would rise from 111 per credit hour to 131 by spring of 2015. Out of state tuition would rise from 239 to 259 during that same time span. The increase goes above Indiana Commission for Higher Education is recommending when it comes to increasing tuition.
