Jeep Recall

Recall

NATIONWIDE, (WOWO) — Chrysler is recalling nearly 92,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee plug-in hybrids from model years 2022 to 2026 due to a software glitch that could suddenly cut drive power without warning.

The issue involves the hybrid control processor misreading battery signals after a reset.

While no crashes or injuries have been reported, the risk is serious enough for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to step in.

Chrysler will notify owners by mail starting October 23.
