EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP): A federal judge will hear arguments over a lesbian couple's request for an injunction that would bar Indiana from enforcing its gay marriage ban against their out-of-state union before one of them dies.
 
       U.S. District Judge Richard Young issued a restraining order on April 10 temporarily blocking the state from enforcing the law against Niki Quasney and Amy Sandler.
 
       Quasney has stage 4 ovarian cancer, and the couple had argued that the court should grant their request because “they have an urgent need to have their marriage recognized.”
 
       Young ordered the state on April 10 to recognize their Massachusetts marriage on Quasney's death certificate whenever it's issued. The order applies only to Quasney and Sandler.
 
       Both sides have filed documents asking Young to issue a summary judgment in their favor.
