FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Indiana Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith will visit Allen County later this month as part of a statewide effort to connect directly with residents.
Beckwith will host mobile office hours and a public town hall on Monday, June 15, through his “92 and You” initiative, which is designed to increase accessibility between Hoosiers and statewide elected officials.
The mobile office hours will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Omni Room at Citizen Square. The session will provide residents with an opportunity to discuss individual concerns and seek assistance from the lieutenant governor’s office.
Later that evening, Beckwith will host a town hall from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Lower Level Theater at Allen County Public Library. The event is expected to focus on broader community issues and provide residents with an opportunity to ask questions and share feedback.
According to Beckwith’s office, the events are part of an ongoing effort to visit communities throughout Indiana and engage directly with constituents.
Both events are open to the public. Officials say the office hours will emphasize one-on-one assistance, while the town hall will focus on issues affecting Allen County and the state as a whole.
