Little girl gets two millionth cookie at Fort Wayne International Airport

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A tradition since 2008 at the Fort Wayne International Airport has hit a milestone.

The airport has given out its 2 millionth cookie, according to a press release.

The lucky recipient was a girl named Lyla, who arrived in Fort Wayne around 10 a.m. on an Allegiant flight from Punta Gorda, Florida. The girl from Hicksville, Ohio was surprised when a crowd greeted her off the plane and announced that she was getting the two millionth cookie.

For getting the cookie, her family is getting a year’s worth of Ellison Cookies, $800 in travel vouchers from Allegiant Airlines, and a goodie basket.
