FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A long time Fort Wayne priest has died.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, Father Lawrence Kramer died Thursday while vacationing in Florida.

Father Kramer grew up in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and served at churches in Fort Wayne, Columbia City, Bluffton, Elkhart and South Bend.

He retired in 2012 and had been assigned to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Fort Wayne.
