Local Professor Helping U.S. Prepare for ISIS

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A professor at a Fort Wayne college is doing his part in the fight against ISIS.

Lawrence Kuznar is a professor of Anthropology for IPFW, and he's been working with the Pentagon to help them figure out what drives ISIS, how they influence people abroad, including in the US, and how much of a threat they are on US soil.

He tells our partners in news at 21Alive he's participated in a few “war game” scenarios where he's actually played the role of the terror group, adding that he feels they are capable of wreaking some havoc here… while adding that if the US and her allies can limit their opportunities, they can prevent another tragedy like what happened in Paris.
