FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): More area veterans’ data may be compromised by erroneous mailings by the regional Veteran Affairs office.

The Journal Gazette reports that as many as 14 area vets may have had their medical test results sent to other patients by the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System.

The system’s acting director, Jay Miller, told the paper a committee has been formed to figure out a way to eliminate mailing errors in the future.

Last month US Senator Joe Donnelly of Indiana sent a letter to the VA’s office in Fort Wayne, calling for an investigation into the situation.
