Man Arrested After Shots Fired Investigation

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WOWO) — Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has placed a hold on a man who was arrested in West Lafayette after a shots fired investigation.

Deputies identified Josue Navarro as a suspect seen in camera footage holding a firearm and receiving the gun from another individual.

The investigation stemmed from multiple complaints of shots fired near an apartment complex.

Navarro, who was using a false last name, was arrested on charges of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, and an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court.
