Officials in Whitley County say a 21-year old man was killed in a snowmobile accident at around 1:40 Wednesday morning.  It happened about 2 miles northwest of Columbia City. Justin Hinen was pronounced dead at the scene after running into a wire fence and suffering a neck injury.  Investigators say excessive speed and the rider being unfamiliar with the area were factors in that fatal crash.
