Man Sentenced to 90 Days in OWI Case

A New Haven man has been sentenced to 90 days in jail for refusing to submit to a blood alcohol test.  The Journal Gazette says James Osenkowski is the first to be charged under Allen County’s new policy dealing with those who refuse such tests.  Osenkowski was pulled over back on November 18th and reportedly blew a 0.20 on the breathalyzer, more than twice the legal limit.  According to court records, Osenkowski has prior O-W-I convictions.  This time he’s charged with driving while intoxicated and driving on a suspended license.
