Hospital Targeted in Cyber Attack

AUBURN, Ind. (WOWO): Officials at DeKalb Health in confirm someone hacked into the hospital’s website and gained access to patient information.
According the Auburn Star, a computer server was targeted in February by an overseas attack that potentially impacted three groups of patients. The hospital says that system was not connected to the patient data system.

Hackers set up a phony web site which was made to look like a donation page for the DeKalb Health Foundation.

DeKalb Health is providing identity monitoring.
