FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A man crossing Coliseum Blvd. was struck by two passing vehicles. 

Around 10:48 p.m. Saturday night a person walking eastbound was trying to cross Coliseum just south of Lake Ave.  The man walked into the path of a vehicle driving southbound Coliseum and was struck.  At that point the man fell and attempted to stand up, but in the act was struck by another vehicle also traveling southbound on Coliseum. 

Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.

The drivers of both vehicles were both transported for standard alcohol/drug screenings, however it has not been determined if it played a part that night for either the driver or victim. 

The incident remains under investigation, and the Allen County Coroner has not released the identity of the man.
