INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): Mayor Greg Ballard is cutting short his trade trip to Germany after a police officer was shot dead while on duty.

Ballard was in Germany to attend the Indy Chamber‘s Leadership Exchange in Cologne when he received word that Officer Rod Bradway was killed in a gunfight early this morning on the northwest side.
