FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Mayor Tom Henry discussed details of Fort Wayne's proposed budget for 2014. Next year's budget highlights are: academy classes for Fort Wayne Police Fire Departments, which will result in 20 new police officers and 15 new firefighters; improvement/maintenance projects for Public Works and Parks; expense reduction of $5 million; and a 2% raise for employees. The budget will be presented to City Council next Tuesday.
