Mayors Against Illegal Guns Delivering Petitions

INDIANA, (WOWO): Mayors Against Illegal Guns are passing out almost 2 million petitions to U.S. Senators demanding action on gun violence.

The petitions demanding political leaders to take action in preventing gun violence will be delivered to Senators in all 50 states today.  As national lawmakers have been back in their home states and districts on recess the past two weeks, the group has continued its push for what they call ‘sensible gun laws’ by airing ads in key states featuring a gun owner.

These activities are part of the largest field campaign in U.S. history to address gun violence.
