Kokomo Couple Arrested on Three Felony Charges

KOKOMO, Ind (WOWO): A month long investigation by the Meth Suppression Team from the Indiana State Police Peru Post resulted in the arrests of 49-year-old Robert Richardson, and his wife, 51-year-old Sandra Richardson, both of Kokomo.

They’re in the Howard County Jail to face felony charges for possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, and neglect of a child. They also face a misdemeanor charge for reckless possession of drug paraphernalia.

Last night, officers from the Peru Post Meth Suppression Team executed a search warrant at the Richardson’s home on Firmin Street in Kokomo.

During their search, officers allegedly found methamphetamine and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. Also at the home was the Richardson’s three-year-old grandson who lived with the couple.

The duo was arrested and the grandson was placed into the care of the Indiana Department of Child Services.
