Mayor’s Youth Engagement Council Accepting Applications

Calling local high-schoolers! Mayor Tom Henry is inviting city teens to join his Youth Engagement Council. The deadline to apply has been extended to June 22nd. You must be a city resident going into your sophomore, junior, or senior year in public, private, or home school. The council gives students insight into municipal government and civic involvement. They get to organize events, like “Fort Wayne’s Almost Famous,” which showcases youth talent. You can fill out an application for the council at www.cityoffortwayne.org/myec.
