Mentone Man Sentenced to Serve 25 Years for Child Molesting

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A Mentone man was sentenced Thursday morning to 30 years for child molesting, stemming from a July of 2014 case.

36-year-old Brian Grosch was sentenced to serve 25 years with the Indiana Department of Corrections, with the final five years to be served on probation. The charges came after his plea agreement from March 5th was accepted.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s office, the victim’s mother contacted Child Protective Services and said her daughter was molested by Grosch. At the time, the victim was just 6-years-old.

After sentencing Grosch, Superior Court Judge David Cates said that Grosch is to have no direct or indirect contact with the victim.
