An arctic blast has gripped out area… and in addition to school delays, weather experts want to make sure everyone takes the necessary precautions before heading out into the cold.  In addition to the proper attire, it’s also a good idea to make sure your vehicle is capable of getting you where you need to go in these bitterly cold temperatures.  You should also consider keeping an emergency kit in your car… or at least a blankets in case you get stuck and have to wait for help to arrive.
