Michigan Man Pulled Over, Police Find Suspected Synthetic Drugs

LAGRANGE, Ind. (WOWO): A LaGrange Sheriff found more than just an impaired driver during an early morning traffic stop.

Around 4:40 a.m. Saturday morning, Michael Curtis of Vandalia, Michigan was pulled over for driving left of center on State Road 9 at County Road 200 North. The officer was able to spot illegal synthetic drugs along with other items.

Curtis was arrested on preliminary charges of operating while intoxicated, possession of synthetic drugs, and possession of paraphernalia. Police say the green substance found will be tested to find out if it's synthetic marijuana.
