PORTER COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A missing body has been found on Lake Michigan. Late Thursday evening, Indiana Conservation Officers found the body of Ron Wood Jr. on the shore of Lake Michigan. Around 7:15 P.M., a boater and member of the USCG Auxiliary found a body floating about one mile off shore. The body was found near the far west border of Central Beach in Porter County. Officers recovered the body after it floated to shore. Wood had been missing for 26 days and was last seen in Lake Michigan near Mt. Baldy. Officers continue to investigate Woods' death.
