Motorcycle Operator Charged with OWI, Other Charges

A Fort Wayne man has been charged in connection with a motorcycle crash back in June that injured himself and his passenger.  Thirty-four year old Michael Kelly is charged with misdemeanor OWI, two felony counts of criminal recklessness and two felony counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury.  Prosecutors say Kelly’s blood alcohol content was .16, twice the legal limit when he went off the side of Lower Huntington Road near Cloverdale.  He reportedly passed another car illegally just before the crash happened.
