Multiple Drug Arrests in Warsaw


               


KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A series of tips and undercover drug purchases led Warsaw Police narcotics officers to multiple locations Monday that resulted in several arrests.


Around 1:30 p.m. narcotics officers went to a home on S. Wood Street, in Warsaw, following a tip of illegal drug activity. Once there, officers found several adults and juveniles with various drug related items, marijuana, juveniles in possession of alcohol, and a sawed off shotgun.


19-year-old Lashawn Adams of Warsaw, was charged with felony dealing marijuana, felony dealing marijuana to a minor, felony possession of marijuana, felony maintaining a common nuisance, and felony possession of a sawed off shotgun. Adams is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail without bond.


A nineteen year old adult from Fort Wayne and three juveniles were also charged with misdemeanor offenses.


Another tip led narcotics officers to the parking lot of Owen’s Supermarket East around 6:45 p.m., where a female was allegedly found dealing drugs out of her car. Police found 56-year-old Kathy King of Warsaw, in possession of schedule II prescription drugs, without a prescription. King did not cooperate in the investigation and resisted arrest. She was taken to the Kosciusko Community Hospital for a blood draw for operating a vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance, and additionally charged with felony dealing narcotics, felony conspiracy to deal narcotics, and resisting law enforcement. She is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail with no bond. 


Finally, an undercover purchase around 11:30 p.m. led officers to a vehicle in the area of US 30 and County Road 250 East. There officers located heroin and meth related items. Officers took 34-year-old, Aaron Baumann of Syracuse, into custody and charged him with felony aiding in the dealing of a narcotic, felony possession of a narcotic, and felony maintaining a common nuisance.


Also charged was 23-year-old Zachary White of Syracuse, for felony dealing methamphetamine, felony dealing in a look a like substance, and possession of paraphernalia. Both Baumann and White are being held in the Kosciusko County Jail with no bond.
