FORT WAYNE Ind. (WOWO): On Monday, the Fort Wayne Planning Commission approved Blue Stone Town Homes, a nearly $4 million duplex community on the south side of Illinois Road in Aboite Township.

The community will include single-family type rentals and will be located near the Centaur Acres subdivision. According to the Journal Gazette, the plans are awaiting approval from the Fort Wayne City Council in the next few weeks.

The complex will include 24 units and provide single floor, one and a half, and two-story duplex homes with two or three bedrooms. Each until will have two-car garages and two full baths with rent starting at $1,400.

The target demographic for the new duplexes are young professionals and baby boomers.
