FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The Allen County Plan Commission said no to Saddle Creek Estates, a controversial housing development that would have been located near Grabill on Witmer Road, that according to the Journal Gazette. Yesterday in a 7-2 vote, the Commission denied the plan by Granite Ridge Builders because they said it was not consistent with the current community. Neighbors said the new development would take away from the predominantly Amish farming area, and they voiced concerns about traffic, drainage, and safety.
