NIPSCO Helping Clean Up After Sandy

About 80 NIPSCO volunteers headed east this morning to help clean up the mess left behind by Hurricane Sandy. Around 6 million utility customers from Ohio to New Jersey are still without power. The NIPSCO team is there to lend help with checking lines, surveying damage and repairing broken power poles. NIPSCO says the majority of the approximately 6,000 of their customers who experienced disruptions in service, had the lights back on within 24 hours.
