Noble Co. Author Needs Historical Photos Before Book is Released

NOBLE COUNTY Ind. (WOWO): A local author is searching for historical photos to be included in a new book about Noble County.

Mark R. Hunter has started writing Images of America: Albion and Noble County, but he needs help finding additional pictures.

According to a press release, any historical photo is welcome, including pictures of early settlements, businesses, churches, entertainment, schools, and entertainment. Hunter's wife and co-author will scan the photos and return the originals to their owners. All photos will get credit in the book and owners can get a scanned electronic copy if they'd like.

The Noble County Historical Society is helping with the project and photos can be sent to markrichardhunter@gmail.com. The Hunters can also be reached at (260) 636-3468 or online at markrhunter.com.

Noble is known for his latest history piece about the Albion Fire Department, Smoky Days and Sleepless Nights. Images of America: Albion and Noble County will be published in late 2015 or early 2016 and sell on store shelves for $21.99.
